Oct 2009 BPISS BPIS Can Ch Striders Santana V Drogheda (Santana) picked up a group 4th, two group 2nds, and a group 1st this past weekend at the Quebec City show, congrats to Frank and Santana!!

Oct 2009 It's becoming munDANE with this girl!! Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS MBISS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea won 3 Best in Shows at the Trout Creek Kennel Club show in Ontario, which makes 12 BIS wins for this spectacular girl, and also makes her the record holder of most BIS wins by a Great Dane female in Canada! Meanwhile in Manitoba we were busy...BPISS Can Ch Striders Mojo Rising, (Mojo) picked up a Group 2nd and 3rd, Striders Silken Swirl (Stella) won WF 2 days, and Striders Return of the Khan (Khanor), won BW for 2 days and a BPIG at the Fort Garry Kennel Club in Winnipeg!       Talea, Mojo, Khanor, Stella

Sept 2009 Continuing on her winning streak, Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS MBISS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea won her 9th Best in Show at the PCA show in Regina, SK, while in Ontario, Shiloh became *BISS* Can Ch Striders Born Ready, winning the Great Dane Club of Canada's Eastern Regional Specialty! Congrats to these wonderful danes on their owner-handled wins!!!

July 2009 A sad time.... our sincere condolences to Julia Kerr on the loss of Tuesday, Striders Ruby Tuesday V Drogheda, during a caesarian/spay. Tuesday's litter was 6 fawn males. She is loved and deeply mised by Julia and Chris :-(

July 2009 In addition to 7 Group placements in June, Santana, BPISS BPIS Can Ch Striders Santana V Drogheda is having a fantastic summer with 2 more Group 1sts in July!

June 2009 The Great Dane Club of Canada held their National Specialty show in Edmonton AB and it was worth the long drive! Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS MBISS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea won Best of Breed and cousin Mojo, BPISS Can Ch Striders Mojo Rising, won Best of Opposite! We were honored to win the GDCC Breeder of the Year award, and Santana, BPISS BPIS Can Ch Striders Santana V Drogheda, was awarded Blue Ribbon Puppy of the Year. Talea continued her winning ways by taking two more Best in Shows over a three day show at the Portage la Prairie show in Manitoba!

May 2009 What a weekend... Mojo, Can Ch Striders Mojo Rising, went to his first US show in Minnesota and won WD BW & Best of Breed over Specials on Friday. Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS BISS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea won BOS. MoJo went on to win the whole Working Group for a 5 pt major!! Saturday MoJo won WD and BOS, with BOB going to Talea, who went on to win a Group 2! Sunday MoJo won the Breed over Specials with Talea taking BOS. What a great weekend!

May 2009 Talea can add BISS to her title... , Am MBIS MRBIS BISS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea, had a spectacular weekend at a 3 day show in Ontario.... She won a Group 1st, 2 Best in Shows and the NOWDA Working Dog Specialty!! These latest wins give her 5 BIS wins and the Specialty win make her a 5th generation BISS winner! Huge congrats to the 'princess' and her very proud owners Renee and Lori! :-)

April 2009 Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea, picked up two Group 2nds at the Chattam ON show and Mojo BPISS Can Ch Striders Mojo Rising won a Group 2nd in Winnipeg. Congrats to the kids!

March 2009 Our Mojo (BPISS Can Ch Striders Mojo Rising) picked up a Group 1st and Talea, Am MBIS MRBIS MBPIS Can Ch Strider N' Leinenstones Katalea, won a Group 2nd at the Northwinds show in Winnipeg. Congrats!

February 2009 Our sincerest condolences to Julia and Chris Kerr on the loss of their dear old girl Dice, Int'l Ch Striders Calisto Dice was opinionated yet sweet, stubborn yet devoted. Dice did not 'do' shows, nor did she 'do' ears in photos except when SHE felt like it, but she was the undisputed lady of the house and will be dearly missed. Dice was 11 years 2 months old, and decided it was her time to go. Thank you Julia and Chris, for all the years of love and care you've given this beautiful girl. We know you will see her again. .
