October 2004 On October 16, 2004, at the Fun-Tier K.C. show in Texas, Seven (Drogheda Striders 7Timz Lucky) won Winners Dog and Best of Winners and Best of Opposite for his first AKC point under Mr Jerry M Watson! At the Dallas Specialty, October 17th, just prior to the GDCA Nationals, Seven took First in the Bred-by-Exhibitor Dogs Class under Judge Nancy Simmons. He then went on to win Best of Bred-by-Exhibitor. At the GDCA National Specialty, Seven took First in the 9-12 months Black class under Judge Donald Booxbaum! September 2004 Strider Great Danes was awarded the Great Dane Club of Canada's Breeder of the Year award for the 2003 year. As well, Kat (BPIS Can Ch Striders BoomKat V Citnalta) was awarded the Great Dane Club of Canada's Blue Ribbon Puppy of the Year award!

August 2004 Hondo (Am Can Ch Striders Hondo Lane V Citnalta) won BOS at the Heart of Minnesota Great Dane Specialty! Congrats to co-owners Judit and Jennifer Janes. Hondo was handled to this win by Glen.

July 2004 Mac (Can Ch Tristars Mack Daddy Strider) finished his Canadian Championship at 16 months of age, taking BOB over a special 3 out of 4 days at the MCA show in Winnipeg! Also in July, Tuesday (Striders Ruby Tuesday V Drogheda) took Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes at the Heart of Texas show (San Antonio specialty) !

	June 2004 BIS Can Ch Citnalta's FinalOutcome Strider (Ali) won another Best in Show this time in NFLD last weekend. Congratulations to her owner/co-breeder Tracy Prendergast!

Stoli is now BPIS Can Ch Striders Vanila Stoli By Jaggr! Stoli finished his Canadian championship with three BOB wins and a Group 4th over a three day show in Ontario, owner handled by Lori Spicer. Congrats to Lori and Stoli!

Spike and Sky are on a roll.... Spike, (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno), picked up a Group 2nd and a Group 3rd over the weekend at the Kenora shows. Sky (BPIS Can Ch Striders Kiss The Sky) finished her Canadian championship with three BW's, a BOB over specials, her 3rd Best Puppy in Show and a Group 3rd!

	June 2004 Spike (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno) took a Group 1st (left) and a Group 2nd over a three day show in Regina SK and Sky (Striders Kiss The Sky) at just 11 months, won Best in Sweepstakes (all breed) and her 2nd Best Puppy in Show!

May 2004 Jagger (Am Ch BIS BISS Can Ch Striders Jagger V Drogheda) turned 7 years young this May. He is still everything you'd expect the Great Dane Best In Show record setting dog to be! May 2004 Tuesday (Striders Ruby Tuesday V Drogheda)at just 10 1/2 months, won a 5 pt Major at the Fargo show in May owner handled by Julia & Chris Kerr. Congrats! Looks like the Jagger x Sophie kids (Tuesday, Sky, Stoli, Edge) are all off to exciting show careers!

May 2004 The GDCC Midwest Division held a Booster May 29th in Winnipeg. Spike (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno) took Best of Breed, and Edge (Striders Jagged Edge) took Winners Male, Best Puppy in Breed and Best of Winners. Spike also picked up two Group 2's and a Group 3rd over the three day show and Edge(pictured right) picked up his 2nd Best Puppy In Group in 3 shows!

May 2004 Sky (Striders Kiss The Sky) made her show debut at the Mid Canada show in Winnipeg and did exceptionally well - at just 10 months of age she picked up a Group 1st and a Best Puppy in Show the first day! Sky is a lovely, sweet girl, very well put together, elegant and showy!

May 2004 Two weeks after his BOB win over Specials, Stoli (Striders Vanila Stoli by Jaggr) took two Best Puppy in Groups and a Best Puppy in Show over a three day show! Way to go Lori and Stoli!

May 2004 On his 10 month birthday weekend, Stoli (Striders Vanila Stoli by Jaggr) celebrated by taking a Best Puppy in Breed and two Best of Breeds over a three day show in Ontario!

April 2004 Mac, (Tristars Mack Daddy Strider) went to his first US show, the Great Dane Club of Greater Kansas City specialty shows and won his 9-12 mth class both days as well as Reserve Winners Dog to the major 1 day! Spike (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno), also won Best Opposite Sex at the KC Specialty Show the same weekend!

April 2004 At 9 1/2 months, Edge (Striders Jagged Edge) made his show debut at the Assiniboine Kennel Club show in Winnipeg with Winners Male all 3 days and a Best Puppy in Group!

Its official! The Number 1 Great Dane in Canada for the second year in a row is Am Ch BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Carpe Diem (Seizer) and his half brother Spike, (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno), was Number 2! Congrats to Seizers co-owner Frank Davey and handler Harold Butler, Seizer has placed in the Working Group Top 10 for the past three years! Also placing in the top ten danes, BIS Can Ch Citnalta's Final Outcome Strider (Ally), co-bred with Tracy Prendergast, was the Number 9 Great Dane in Canada with very limited showing. A big congrats to Ally and Tracy!

A busy weekend! Over the three day Northwinds show in Winnipeg, Buffy (below left) picked up her last point and is now Can Ch Striders Silke Fyne while Mac, (Tristars Mack Daddy Strider) picked up more points (WM, BOW) and another Puppy Group (below right), Spike, (Am Ch BISS BIS BPIS Can Ch Striders Macho Uno), picked up 2 more Group 2's and Stoli (Striders Vanila Stoli by Jagr) picked up his first points with Winners Male and Best Puppy in Breed! Way to go gang!
