Silken was a top quality bitch, winning consistently since her 1st Best Puppy in Show at her 1st dog show at 7 months of age. She never looked back and ended her puppy year by being the Great Dane Club of Canada’s Puppy of the Year in 1995. She won Best in Sweeps at the GDCC National in 1995 & was the #4 Dane in Canada 95 as a puppy.

- 1995 Great Dane Club of Canada's Blue Ribbon Puppy of the Year along with Best in Sweeps at the GDCC National and was the #4 Great Dane in Canada as a puppy.
- Multiple Best Puppy in Show winner
- Multi Group placer, Group 1 winner
- Best of Breed at 5 Great Dane Club of Canada Boosters
- Best of Opposite Sex at the GDCC National in 1996 (her littermate KC won the breed)
- Major pointed in the US with Best of Winners and Winners Bitch at the Heart of Minnesota Specialty
- Best in Specialty at the GDCC Western Regional Specialty in 1997
- Award of Merit at the GDCC National Specialty (her littermate KC won the breed for a second time)
- Reserve Winners Female at the GDCA National Specialty in 1997 over an entry of 180 of the top females across North America
- 2002, at 8years of age, took Best of Opposite Sex and Best Brood Bitch at the GDCC National Specialty show (her son Spike took the Breed)


   

   

Silkens conformation was outstanding with a body & movement that was hard to fault. She had excellent shoulder layback & rear angulation, good depth of chest & tuck up, excellent topline & tail carriage & moved effortlessly, with good reach & drive. Her color was the correct golden yellow. She had beautiful almond shaped dark eyes, a sweet expression, scissors bite and full dentition.

Silken was the dam of 10 Champions (8 Canadian, 2 American, & 1 International) 3 Best Puppy in Show Winners and 3 Best in Show and 2 Best in Specialty Show Winners):
