Brenda and the girls made a trip stateside to Helena Montana where and Sugar, BPS GR CH Striders SugarSugar V Wishmaster, earned her USA obedience Novice title, CD and Ziva BPIS GR CH Strider N Wishmaster Start Me UP earned her USA Rally Novice title RN. Congrats!

The Great Dane Club of Canada announced it's annual awards at the National Specialty. We are proud to be awarded 2015 Breeders of the Year, with Skyler, Can GCh Striders Kokanee Gold being named 2015 Blue Ribbon Puppy of the Year, and Ziva, Ziva, BPIS GR CH Strider N Wishmaster Start Me UP winning the 2015 Richmore Obedience Award as well as her VGD (Versatile Great Dane) title!

At theThunder Bay show, Thor, BISS BPIS GR Can Ch Striders Bona Fide Wishmaster won two Group 3rds and a Group 4th, and Sparkle, Striders Pop Sparkle n Buzz Electric, won four Best Puppy in Group! At the GDCC National, Santana, Am BPISS BPIS BIS Can Gr CFC Elite Ch Striders Santana V Drogheda won Best Veteran in Specialty, while stateside, Dancer, Striders Dancin N the Dark Drogheda, won RWF to a major in Texas, and Midori, BBPISS Strider n Leinenstones Happy Hour, won a 5 point major in Des Moines Iowa! Congrats to all!!

August 2016

At the Great Dane Club of Canada Regional Specialty show, Thor, BISS BPIS GR Can Ch Striders Bona Fide Wishmaster won Best of Breed, and a Group 1 and two Group 4ths in the MCA all breed show. Miss Sparkle, Striders Pop Sparkle n Buzz Electric, made her show debut at 6 months of age, taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Specialty show at the Regional, and then went on to win a Best Puppy in Group, and a Best Puppy in Working Dog Specialty Show!! The GDCC Regional show also saw Ch Striders Miss Khaleesi Khan taking Best of Opposite Sex, and Ch Striders JJ Flash V Drogheda taking Best Veteran.

July 2016

The recent LKC show in Thunder Bay was full of great accomplishments and left us with such a great feeling of pride! Midori (BBPIS Ch. Strider N Leinenstones Happy Hour) took a Grp 3 & a Grp 4 placement. NaVan (BPIS Ch. Strider N Leinenstones NaVan) made his debut in the Altered Ring and came home with, what we think could be the first Best Altered in Show for a Great Dane!!! The highlight of the weekend however, was when 10 ½ year old Talea, (MBIS, MBISS, MBPIS, Am/Can GChEx Strider N Leinenstones Katalea, AOM, CGN, HOF) was awarded Best Veteran in Show!! Ms. 'T' brought tears to everyone's eyes as she strutted her way to her '18th' Best!

Thor, BISS BPIS GR Can Ch Striders Bona Fide Wishmaster won a Group 3rd and 4th at the Kenora show, while Skyler, Can GCh Striders Kokanee Gold for a G4 at the Kingston show and Midori, Ch. Strider N Leinenstone's Happy Hour picked up a Group 2nd and Group 3rd in Thunder Bay. Congrats!

May 2016

Well it was more than a 'Happy Hour' this past weekend at the Sault Ste Marie show.....Midori, Ch. Strider N Leinenstone's Happy Hour picked up a Group 4, 2 - Group 3's, a Group 2, then topped up the weekend with a Group 1st!!!!! Meanwhile in Saskatchewan Sugar, BPS GR CH Striders SugarSugar V Wishmaster picked up a Group 2 and Group 3, and Ziva, BPIS GR CH Strider N Wishmaster Start Me UP won a Group 2 and Group 4 the same weekend!

May 2016

Thor, BISS BPIS GR Can Ch Striders Bona Fide Wishmaster won a Group 1st, a Reserve Best In Show and BISS in the Working Dog specialty at the Hub City show in Saskatchewan, while Sugar, BPS GR CH Striders SugarSugar V Wishmaster and Ziva, BPIS GR CH Strider N Wishmaster Start Me UP won the Best Brace in Show award. Ziva also won BOS in the Sweepstakes and got her final qualifying score in rally novice with a high in class for her RN title. Sugar earned a qualifying score in open obedience and a High in Class in Novice C. She also earned six qualifying scores in rally - 3 advanced and 3 excellent and High obedience and rally scores for the GDCC booster. The next weekend Thor, BISS BPIS GR Can Ch Striders Bona Fide Wishmaster won a Group 2nd and 3 Group 3rds at the Northwinds show in Oakbank MB.
